Choose the Right Panel

Budgeting Pro has two entry points on the same shop subdomain:

  • https://your-shop-subdomain.4budgetingpro.app/admin for the shop super admin
  • https://your-shop-subdomain.4budgetingpro.app/app for company users

Use the panel that matches your account type.

Shop Admin First Steps

After Shopify installation:

  1. Open the shop subdomain and go to /admin.
  2. Sign in with the email and password sent during installation.
  3. Review the dashboard statistics for the current shop.
  4. Open Companies and confirm imported companies are present.
  5. If needed, use Import From Shopify to bring in a company manually.
  6. Open Logo Upload if you want shop-specific branding.
  7. Open Change Password and replace the generated password.

Company Admin First Steps

If your company is being created through the app itself:

  1. Open /app/register.
  2. Complete the registration form.
  3. Verify your email address.
  4. Sign in with the OTP flow on /app/login.

If your company already exists and an admin created your user:

  1. Wait for your verification email.
  2. Verify the email address.
  3. Sign in through /app/login using email and OTP.

After verification, the first registered company contact becomes the initial CompanyAdmin.

What You Will See in the App Panel

The current app panel navigation is:

  • Dashboard
  • Users
  • Locations
  • Draft Orders

Dashboard widgets

The dashboard currently shows:

  • draft order count
  • needs rework count
  • approved order count
  • completed order count
  • failed order count
  • draft orders per month chart
  • budget vs spending chart

Database notifications are enabled and polled automatically.

Suggested Setup Order

For a new company tenant, this is the most practical sequence:

  1. Confirm the company and first location were created successfully.
  2. Open Locations and complete or refine location details.
  3. Add yearly and monthly budgets under each location.
  4. Create company users in Users.
  5. Attach users to the correct locations from the location detail view.
  6. Review incoming Draft Orders and confirm the workflow with your team.

Important current limitation

The current build does not include a separate reports area, a company settings page, or bulk onboarding tools in the app panel. The setup work is centered on Users, Locations, Budgets, and Draft Orders.
